The Beekenkamp Group helps to set the world record for planting trees in Ethiopia

Last Monday over 350 million trees were planted in Ethiopia! The Beekenkamp Group planted 10.000 trees, of which 1.000 at our own farm. We are committed contributing to reforestation and climate change in Ethiopia, a special and important country for us.

The trees are planted at 1000 different locations in Ethiopia. The country wants to plant four billion trees in the coming years to combat climate change. According to the United Nations, more than 35 percent of all forests in Ethiopia have disappeared since the beginning of the 21st century.
