An Beekenkamp Appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau

During the celebration of her 50th anniversary, co-owner An Beekenkamp of the family business Beekenkamp Group was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau. This special royal honour was presented by Mayor B.R. Arends.

An Beekenkamp has been with Beekenkamp Group since 1974. The company comprises Beekenkamp Plants – Vegetables and Ornamentals, Deliflor, and Beekenkamp Packaging. Since 2000, she has co-owned the business with her sister Margriet. An is still fully active within the family business, which is a global leading starting material supplier of vegetables, pot- and bedding plants, packaging, and chrysanthemums. She is deeply involved with the thousands of employees and suppliers. In addition, An Beekenkamp is an active volunteer with various (international) organizations such as Plantum, VNO-NCW Westland-Delfland and within the local community.
